The Tangaroa raft on its way across the Pacific Ocean

08/05/2006 :: Following the footsteps of Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl and his Kon-Tiki expedition, the Tangaroa raft left port in Peru 28 April on its long journey across the Pacific Ocean. Norwegian explorer finishes world's longest ski expedition

24/03/2006 :: Rune Gjeldnes returned to Oslo in March after 90 days and 4 804 kilometres skiing across freezing Antarctica.
